They both went on dates which turned into disasters. It was a delight to read with a lot of laugh out loud moments. I enjoyed the element of “bet” in this story where they both signed up for the dating agency. Their nature, struggles, feelings about each other are very well written. The story is told from Vivian and Lucas’s point of view so we get to know them more properly.

But I also felt bad for him as he was always at the receiving end of Vivian’s anger. I loved the banter between Lucas and Vivian. He helped Tegan in almost every possible way even if she was the daughter of Vivian. What I loved about him the most is his helpful nature. And now coming to my favorite character in the story Lucas. Vivian is extremely protective of her daughter and Tegan always has her back. I loved her relationship with her daughter Tegan. She had to go through a lot in her past which made her the person she is. She is hot-headed, rude and a determined lady. Who wins the bet? Will Dr Lucas need to leave at the end? Or will Vivian be forced to leave her corner office? With offices at stake and a unique bet on the table, both of them are adamant and determined to win. She wants him gone when he tries to steal her clients whereas Lucas wants the corner office of Vivian. There is nothing in the world that bothers Vivian as much as Dr Lucas. They were surprised to find themselves working in offices next door. They both have complete opposite personalities and their first encounters didn’t quite go well. The story revolves around Vivian, a divorce lawyer and Lucas, a couple’s therapist.

It’s become a pleasure-and soon, Vivian and Luke will realize how pointless it is to fight the laws of attraction. Now, taking down Luke has become more than business for Vivian. With their offices at stake, Vivian and Luke play the field of love in a fierce battle of wits that quickly turns hot and personal, especially when Vivian’s daughter gets involved.

But it’s Luke who gives her the perfect opportunity when he proposes an unexpected bet. Lucas Keller, a couple’s therapist whose piercing blue eyes and flawless dark hair are just as annoying as his bad temper.īut when Luke starts poaching Vivian’s clients by saving their marriages, she makes it her mission to force him out of the building to save her practice. The worst offender is her new neighbor: Dr. Single mom Vivian has been burned by love once before, and her job as a divorce lawyer has presented enough evidence to convince her there are no good men left in New York City. First law of magnetism: opposite poles attract.
